Come tomorrow, Beldini will be center stage in a different venue: federal court.
She is the first of the 44 people nabbed in the July 23 corruption and money-laundering sweep to stand trail.
Beldini, 74, is accused of taking $20,000 in bribes from federal informant Solomon Dwek, which she allegedly funneled into Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy’s re-election campaign. Beldini served as treasurer of the campaign.
