Manhattan Strip Clubs: Damon and the Yankees deserve each other

Am I the only one who finds this “standoff” between Johnny Damon and the Yankees utterly and completely ridiculous?
Here we have the Yankees, the team that throws money around like A-Rod at a strip club, suddenly pretending to be fiscally austere and responsible. And here we have Damon, an aging ballplayer who throws like a grandmother, pretending there are other teams salivating to sign him.
Simply put, Damon and the Yankees are a pretty good match. The Yankees need an outfielder, to the extent that any team with a $200 million payroll really needs anything. And Damon must love playing in that little bandbox in the Bronx, where the short right-field porch allowed him to hit 24 fly balls homers last year.
