NORWALK — A Greenwich substitute teacher was arrested on charges of propositioning two police detectives for sex in South Norwalk Thursday night.
Barbara Glynn, 50, of 15 Ridgecrest Road, Stamford, was charged with prostitution and held overnight in lieu of $1,500 bond.
At her arraignment Friday afternoon at state Superior Court in Norwalk, Judge Bruce Hudock released Glynn on a written promise to appear in court and forbade her from working with school children while the case is before the court.
Following her release, Glynn said she has been a substitute teacher in Greenwich for the past year.
Greenwich school officials said Glynn has worked as a substitute on and off since August 2008. Most recently she subbed for two days in last fall.
