Lodi man due in court on Englewood prostitution-related charges

A Lodi man and his girlfriend were arrested on prostitution-related charges after they allegedly advertised the services of an Englewood juvenile and adult women on the Internet, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Akram Karriem Paul, 30, was being held in the Bergen County Jail on Monday in lieu of $25,000 bail on charges of promoting prostitution and promoting prostitution employing a juvenile.
The girlfriend, Tracey Latisha Johnson, 30, of Lodi, was charged with engaging in prostitution and released on her own recognizance after her arrest.
The investigation began after Englewood police received a report that a city juvenile was being advertised as part of the prostitution services, and that Paul was responsible for the postings, Molinelli said.

Once it became clear that Johnson was there to engage in prostitution, she and Paul were arrested without incident, Molinelli said.
