If only. Talk about your bait and switch – instead, we get a bald John Travolta shooting up the City of Lights as he fights terrorism, a guy whose idea of romance is a quickie in the bathroom with a prostitute.
Charlie Wax, you see, doesn’t play by the rules. Or maybe he plays outside the lines. Or the rules don’t apply to him. Whatever. You know the type – he’s a spy that the government doesn’t want to rein in because, no matter how unorthodox (and dangerous) his methods, he always gets the job done.
