Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Convicted Doctor Ready To Begin Sentence
Authorities in Butler County, Ohio, said Monday that Dr. R. Scott Blankenburg is set to begin his prison sentence for crimes he and his twin brother committed.
The Dayton (Ohio) Daily News said Blankenburg, 54, turned himself over to authorities Monday as part of a stay given to the pediatrician by a Butler County Common Pleas Court judge after he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Blankenburg received the sentence after pleading guilty last month to counts of compelling prostitution, bribery, pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and complicity to deception to obtain a dangerous drug.
Blankenburg’s twin brother, Mark, is being held in Butler County Jail after being convicted in October of molesting three former patients and sentenced to as much as 27 years in prison.
