According to a Yahoo! Sports report, Tebow posed with “Rock of Ages” performer Neka Zhang and some fellow bikini-clad castmates backstage at a recent performance.
She posted the photo to Twitter, but was apparently asked to take it down in an effort to maintain Tebow’s squeaky-clean, family-friendly image.
“Rock of Ages” features a part in Act I that includes a character meeting the owner of a gentleman’s club, and accepting an offer to work as a stripper in the club. Tebow’s PR staffers probably thought some folks would find it inappropriate for him to pose with actresses who are portraying strippers in the musical.
“Well, Due to Tebow’s ‘image’ I was asked to remove the pic of him with us half dressed ladies,” she tweeted, according to Yahoo!’s report. “He does know we arn’t [sic] real strippers right?”

We’ve been talking a lot about Tim Tebow’s image recently, from the way he’s portrayed in video games to the way his lawyers are zealously protecting his copyright by going after the makers of a T-shirt that doesn’t even have Tebow’s name or likeness on it. And now we have another story about the Tebow image, this one coming from a Broadway actress.
The actress is named Neka Zang, and she’s in the musical Rock of Ages on Broadway. According to TMZ, Tebow posed for a backstage picture with the Rock of Ages cast, but when Zang posted that picture on Twitter, she was asked to take it down.
“Well, Due to Tebow’s ‘image’ I was asked to remove the pic of him with us half dressed ladies. He does know we arn’t real strippers right?” Zang wrote on Twitter.

He took a picture with the cast of “Rock of Ages” in New York. See the picture below:
Word is, according to TMZ, he insisted upon the picture being taken down due to his image.
A cast member explained the removal of the picture by saying this on Twitter:
“Well, Due to Tebow’s “image” I was asked to remove the pic of him with us half dressed ladies. He does know we arn’t real strippers right?”
Whether or not he overreacted because they are only cast members in a Broadway show, Tim Tebow does care about his image, and keeping it clean.

The Supreme Court of the State of New York announced Monday that it has upheld the Town of Hempstead’s decision to reject North Bellmore strip club owner Billy Dean’s cabaret application for a proposed Wantagh nightclub/restaurant on Sunrise Highway.
Dean’s suit against the town argued that the Hempstead Board of Zoning Appeals should have never revoked its original June 2010 approval for cabaret usage on 3500 Sunrise Highway in Wantagh.
The zoning board decided last March to schedule a rehearing of Dean’s application under the name Green 2009, Inc. due to vocal opposition that mounted against the development, as well as a belief that not enough people were notified of the original hearing date.
Town Announces Car Seat Safety Inspection Summer Schedule
Hempstead Town has announced the summer schedule for the Child Car Seat Safety Inspection Program. The town’s certified child passenger safety technicians will inspect and properly install child car safety seats and instruct guardians on their proper installation. State law requires that children under the age of 8 are restrained in an appropriate child restraint system when riding in a motor vehicle.
