Manhattan Escorts: New York goes redneck

Republican standard bearer Newt Gingrich recently kicked off his campaign for the presidency by making a disgusting speech about the supposed dangers of Islam to America. This was an ugly foretaste of the oncoming wave of religious bigotry and xenophobia that will mark this fall’s American elections. Fear and hatred of Islam are becoming the Republican Party’s mantra.
Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg ran serious political risk by defending the right of Muslims to build their centre in lower Manhattan. The president rightly noted that choosing the downtown site may not have been wise, but it was the absolute right of its proponents, a right which we as Americans must defend at all costs.
Now, the hard right and conservative media are howling that the prayer centre, which is actually interfaith, somehow violates the profound sanctity of the 9/11 “holy ground”. No mention of the strip clubs, massage parlours, escort services and bars next to this lower Manhattan “holy ground”.

Manhattan Escorts: Former madam Kristin Davis is running for New York governor

Growing up in Fresno, Calif., the only child of a single mother who worked for an insurance company, Davis wasn’t particularly political. Nor, she said, was she a bad girl. She worked on the school yearbook, and she said she was “the kind of girl that wasn’t part of any particular clique but that everyone liked.”
She said she attended Hoover High School for one year and then Ashlan Park Christian School. Fresno City College officials have confirmed that she attended in 1995, and Saint Mary’s College officials confirmed that she graduated in 2003 with a management degree.
Davis said she first entered the business of pleasure by investing $10,000 in a friend’s San Francisco massage parlor.
“It was a ‘happy ending’ massage parlor,” Davis explained.
After work in what she termed the hedge fund business, Davis started a New York City escort service under various names, including Wicked Models. Her escorts charged about $1,000 an hour, generally split 50-50 with Davis.

Manhattan Escorts: Get New York Alerts

We applaud two courageous men, President Barack Obama and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, for defending the Muslim center even at considerable political risk. As the president noted, choosing the downtown sit may not have been wise, but it was the absolute right of its proponents, a right which we as Americans must defend at all costs.
Republicans, neocons and assorted racists are having a field day promoting hatred of Islam. They see it as a golden opportunity to revive charges that the president is a closet Muslim. Newt Gingrich recently kicked off his campaign for the presidency by issuing a disgusting jeremiad about the supposed dangers of Islam to the nation.
Now, the massed myrmidons of the hard right are wailing that the prayer center – which is actually interfaith – somehow violates the profound sanctity of the 9/11 “holy ground.”
I don’t known what they think about the massage parlors, escort services and bars that also abut this lower Manhattan “holy ground.”

Manhattan Escorts: Biden Motorcade Accident

Biden was around a motorcycle accident today. Biden’s vehicle was not involved and no one was seriously hurt.
Apparently two New York City police motorcycles got into an accident while escorting Vice President Joe Biden to the Kennedy Airport. Biden met with Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Thursday and that was why he was in New York.
This is not the first time Biden’s escort services have been in an accident. Last November, a NYPD car that was driving in front of Biden’s motorcade got into a minor collision with a cab. Biden comically was on his way to be on comedy central’s “The Daily Show.”
There have been a few fatal motorcade accidents in the previous decade. President Bush motorcade had a fatal accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico. (c) tPC

Manhattan Escorts: Call him Kevin Kline, not ‘Kevin Decline’

Still, there have been missteps. It may not be a coincidence that Kline wasn’t reading scripts he loved immediately after “Wild Wild West,” which was critically drubbed (The Times’ Kenneth Turan called it “clumsy” and “disappointing”), but the actor insists he’s comfortable with his lack of power in determining the outcome of a film after he’s done his job: “If you want more than that, you have to be a director.” Of 2002’s “The Emperor’s Club,” in which he played an idealistic classics teacher at a prep school, he says, “It was based on Ethan Canin’s book, which had a great title, ‘The Palace Thief,’” Kline remembers. “But the studio said, ‘Oh, no, you can’t use that as a title. There’s no palace and there’s no thief.’ But ‘The Emperor’s Club’?” Kline rolls his eyes. “I chortled when that turned out to be the name of the escort service that Eliot Spitzer used. It’s a good name for an escort service. It’s not so good for a movie.”

Manhattan Escorts: Friends want to get their mojo back

For a certain audience, the good-natured humor about sex, aging and friendship in the new off-Broadway comedy “Viagara Falls” will definitely resonate. The dialogue has its ups and downs — pun intended — but it’s all in good fun.
Two semi-spry widowers in their 70s, living in Brooklyn, trade body part jokes and health complaints while debating how to spend a special evening.
Lou Cutell, who co-wrote the script with Joao Machado, manages to be both touching and peppy as “Sinatra-phile” Charley, the more enthusiastic of the two friends. It’s Charley’s birthday, and he wants to celebrate by showing his lifelong pal and war buddy, Moe (Bernie Kopell), the night of his life.
Determined to enjoy the evening, Charley has procured some Viagra pills on the local black market — from Vito, the “Mafia baker” — and calls an escort service, “Pussy Cats for Older Men,” to provide a couple of ladies. Needless to say, the dialogue is liberally sprinkled with erectile-dysfunction jokes.
Risque humor

Manhattan Escorts: Seasoned cast handles life’s ups and downs in silly septuagenarian sex farce …

Manhattan Escorts: Is BP’s Former Chief John Browne Done Being Bitter Over the Outing That Cost …

It was in New York in 1973 that I discovered the work of the Greek poet CP Cavafy. He was gay and in the closet. His only outlet of self-expression was his poetry. He wrote: “From all the things I did and all the things I said let no one try to find out who I was … Later, in a more perfect society, someone else made just like me is certain to appear and act freely.” I wanted to agree with that but never thought it would apply to me.
In 2007 I resigned as chief executive of BP because I had made an untrue statement as to how I had met a boyfriend with whom I had broken up after an extended affair. He had sold his embellished tale to the Mail on Sunday. I attempted to keep it from publication, and in doing so I told a fabricated story (that I had met him running in Battersea Park, rather than through an escort agency) because I felt threatened about coming out. It was the same fear that had prevented me from going out to meet men in the usual way at parties, clubs and so on.

Manhattan Escorts: Rep. Nadler: Investigate torture or face road to ‘tyranny’

Reporters for the newspaper examined hundreds of credit card vouchers, drawn on both corporate and personal credit cards and made pay-able to the escort service operated by the homosexual ring. Many of the vouchers were run through a so-called “sub-merchant” account of the Chambers Funeral Home by a son of the owner, without the company’s knowledge.
Among the client names contained in the vouchers — and identified by prostitutes and escort operators — are government officials, locally based U.S. military officers, businessmen, lawyers, bankers, congressional aides and other professionals.
Editors of The Times said the newspaper would print only the names of those found to be in sensitive goverment posts or positions of influence. “There is no intention of publishing names or facts about the operation merely for titillation.” said Wesley Pruden, managing editor of The Times.

At least one highly placed Bush Administration official and a wealthy businessman who procured homosexual prostitutes from the escort services operated by the ring are cooperating with the investigation, several sources said.
