Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Alex Gibney’s Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer (2010) – Trailer of …

This documentary feature takes an in-depth look at the rapid rise and dramatic fall of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Nicknamed “The Sheriff of Wall Street,” when he was NY’s Attorney General, Eliot Spitzer prosecuted crimes by America’s largest financial institutions and some of the most powerful executives in the country. After his election as Governor, with the largest margin in the state’s history, many believed Spitzer was on his way to becoming the nation’s first Jewish President. Then, shockingly, Spitzer’s meteoric rise turned into a precipitous fall when the New York Times revealed that Spitzer – the paragon of rectitude – had been caught seeing prostitutes. As his powerful enemies gloated, his supporters questioned the timing of it all: as the Sheriff fell, so did the financial markets, in a cataclysm that threatened to unravel the global economy. With unique access to the escort world and well as friends, colleagues and enemies of the ex-Governor (many of whom have come forward for the first time) the film explores the hidden contours of this tale of hubris, sex, and power.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Eastern Religion in an Ensemble Drama

The characters whose paths just happen to cross include a late-night D.J. (Steven R. Schirripa) his ex-wife (Sharon Angela) and estranged son (Emory Cohen); a big talker just out of detox (Nick Sandow); and the younger woman with whom he used to have hot vampiric sex (Aunjanue Ellis, who’s fun to watch). After a long night of agita, debauchery and soiled underwear — sort of Hubert Selby Jr. meets the Billy Joel of “Captain Jack” — several find themselves at an upstate guru’s meditation center.
Mr. Imperioli, who does not appear in the film, has recruited fellow “Sopranos” actors like Mr. Schirripa, Ms. Angela, John Ventimiglia and Vincent Curatola for his cast. What he needed was David Chase, or another of the better “Sopranos” writers, to shape the story, punch up the action and weed out the mystical-psychological mumbo jumbo, no matter how heartfelt it might be.
“The Hungry Ghosts” is rated R (Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian). Drugs, a stripper, a predatory threesome, bad words.

Manhattan Escorts: Hudson police use website to aid in prostitution busts; 21 states want to shut …

Attorneys general in 21 states recently demanded that the site, owned by the Village Voice Media, shut down its adult classified section. The site declined to do so, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
In Hudson County, the North Jersey section has aided West New York, Union City and Hoboken police in making dozens of prostitution and prostitution-related busts.
West New York Police Director Al Bringa estimated that 20 to 25 of his department’s 63 prostitution-related arrests this year started with a tip about an ad on backpage.com. Although the site has thus been a useful police tool, he said “it diminishes the quality fo life for residents” and should be removed.
Two weeks ago, Hoboken detectives arrested two women involved in an apparent prostitution ring and escort service by calling a backpage.com ad.

Manhattan Escorts: David Beckham, Ashton Kutcher: Cheating on Spouses? (Photo Links Alleged …

… spark, they are each gaining momentum and more media coverage.
David Beckham
First there is David Beckham who is suing In Touch magazine which published claims by Irma Nici, 26 that she slept with the soccer player twice in 2007. The first tryst allegedly occurred in a New York hotel room in August, with the second at Claridge’s hotel in London about a month following that.
See photo of Irma Nici here.
Nici told In Touch magazine that she had a second woman join in the New York fling utilizing the services of Kristin Davis. If that name rings a bell, Davis is the madam who ran an escort agency and gained some notoriety in 2008 when Eliot Spitzer, then New York governor, used her company for services of prostitutes.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Texas Rangers Fans: Let’s Go Yankees! Clap … Clap … ClapClapClap!!

Texas Rangers Fans: Let’s Go Yankees! Clap … Clap … ClapClapClap!!
I’ve seen Mavericks’ forward Popeye Jones inadvertently tip a jump ball into his own basket, giving the Cleveland Cavaliers two points. I’ve seen Cowboys’ defensive lineman Leon Lett inexplicably attempt to recover a blocked field goal on an icy Thanksgiving field at Texas Stadium, handing the Miami Dolphins a victory. I’ve even seen – and tipped – a one-arm stripper at The Clubhouse.
But yesterday was a first for my eyes: the Rangers won a baseball game via a walk-off strikeout.
In a surreal season that’s as weird as it is wonderful, Rangers 6, Mariners 5 was the wackiest climax of ‘em all. Score the winning play: Strikeout, Wild Pitch, E-2. Never seen a player mobbed on the field for a check-swing strikeout at a pitch that bounced two feet in front of the plate, but that’s exactly what happened to Nelson Cruz Wednesday afternoon.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Bell attorney denies taking $2M for settle

In July, Bell’s estate was awarded $3.25 million in the settlement following his shooting by New York Police Department officers. Guzman, who was seriously injured during the barrage Nov. 25, 2006, was awarded $3 million and Benefield, who also survived, was awarded $900,000.
Paultre-Bell, who is running for City Council, will be taking her share, roughly $2.5 million, of the settlement and investing it for her and Bell’s daughters, according to Rubenstein.
“These girls are economically secured for the rest of their lives,” he said.
Bell and his friends were celebrating his bachelor party at the now-defunct Kalua Cabaret in Jamaica, where undercover officers were conducting an investigation into suspected drug and prostitution operations. The entourage got into an argument with another patron outside the strip club and an officer claimed to have heard someone say they were going to get a gun.

The New York Post: The first thing you see when you look at today’s Post on the newsstand is the heavy, black type reading “NEAT TRICK.” It is a neat trick! First of all, a story with little in the way of photographic visual appeal—unfortunately this story subject, who describes rather prolifically her life of stripping and prostitution on the Web, is not as free with photos of herself as was Sexy Spy Anna Chapman—nevertheless has the legs (get it?) to lead the page with this heavy type. And the “neat trick” pun is perfect Post: clipped and Germanic, two words that say it all. The “trick” referred to here is erstwhile-cover-star Melissa Petro’s snagging “tenure at a Bronx elementary school—even as she burned up the Internet with blogs about her notorious past.” It’s pretty juicy! Until you read the article.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Care For Some Crotch?: Keri Hilson Edition

Miss Keri Baby p*ssy popped for a paycheck yesterday. The third rate singer/no rate dancer performed at the Beats By Dr. Dre & Monster new product line unveiling at the Nokia Best Buy Theater in NYC. How can anyone compare this chick to Ciara? No clue.
To be honest, I think crotch shots like that are classless. I don’t like it when Keri does it…when Ciara does it…when Rihanna does or when the queen of crotch shots & pussy pops herself Beyonce does it. I guess I’m just old fashion in the sense that… well you just don’t show your “wooha!” to the world lol. And there’s a great possibility that it might just make an appearance when you’re wearing coochie cutters, spreading your legs and dipping it low lol. Now if you’re a stripper or a porn star… well that’s different lol.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg Wants David Letterman’s Job (VIDEO)

Currently, Bloomberg is caught up in the seemingly never-ending “Ground Zero Mosque” controversy. (And let’s pause, as always, to point out that it’s not technically a mosque, and isn’t technically at Ground Zero.) The mayor said that he supports the right of the builders to construct the Islamic center, adding that they have a “First Amendment” right to build and worship wherever they want.
Bloomberg pointed out that even though a lot of people are offended by building the mosque in that area, it isn’t actually pristine ground. For instance, there are adult bars and strip clubs right nearby. Letterman seemed intrigued by this, and wanted more precise directions. “Where are these ‘adult bars’ you speak of?” he asked. We’re sure that Dave only wanted to know this because he’s abstractly interested in the Ground Zero debate.
