Manhattan Massage Parlors: Church Neighbors Unholy

Recent prostitution busts netted three ladies of the night working out of local rental houses, two women at 47-12 210th St. in Bayside, and one at 150-12 11th Ave., next door to the church, according to information from City Councilman Dan Halloran (R-Whitestone). Police are investigating a third house in Auburndale.
“If they are related in businesses, we don’t know,” Halloran said. “As of now, this seems to be independent girls working in independent situations, so I don’t think that should concern people more than any other quality of life crimes.”
Tenants of the Bayside house have since been evicted.
“It’s very unusual to find this going on in residential houses,” Halloran said. “This is kind of a different take on an old problem, I suppose you could say. We’ve, of course, seen this throughout the city in massage parlors.”

Manhattan Strip Clubs: LI Man Racks Up $46K Tab At Penthouse Club

Penthouse Executive Club, 2004 (Jake Dobkin/Gothamist) Fed up with lying prone and taking one frivolous lawsuit after another, the Penthouse Executive Club has started going on the litigatory offensive lately. Today, the Manhattan strip club apparently thinks its ladies should be paid and is now suing a man who has allegedly racked up an unpaid $46,000 tab at the Manhattan strip club.
James Clooney, of Oyster Bay, allegedly owes the strip club $46,698, which he spent on alcohol, steaks and private time with the club’s stable of strippers, according to court papers. Clooney was a “frequent patron” of the club from at least May 2008 till last December, and was afforded the respect that such a very frequent patron would merit. But besides “some small partial payments from time to time,” Clooney has refused to fully pay his tab. Now he faces the wrath of the club: besides the money he owes, his name will now be Google-synonymous with the Penthouse Executive Club for the time being. But he can always pay it forward, and try suing Google, because that always works.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Penthouse Club claims LI man racked up $46000 in unpaid tab: lawsuit

Here is one Long Island guy who’s a real boob.
A regular of the Penthouse Executive Club has stiffed the mammary mecca on a $46,000 tab, court papers say.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court today, the West Side gentleman’s club says it allowed James Clooney to run a tab because he was a “frequent patron.”
“That during the period from on or about May 29, 2008 through on or about December 4, 2009, Executive Club provided entertainment services, food and beverages to Clooney and/or guests of Clooney which were charged” to his account, and now total $46,698.18, the suit says.
They said they demanded payment from him “on numerous occasions,” and while he’s “made some small partial payments from time to time,” he’s refusing to pay up.
Clooney, of Oyster Bay, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Revenge of the peep show pros

Back in September 2008, Victory Tradeshow Management was gearing up for its Exxxotica NY trade show, which was scheduled to take place from Sept. 12 through 14 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus. Veterans on the porn expo circuit, Victory had already hosted successful trade shows in other states and assumed Exxxotica’s New York-area debut would come off without any problems.
However, upon learning that the “Jewel of the Meadowlands,” as Secaucus refers to itself, was about to play host to strippers and porn stars and their enthusiastic fans, Secaucus town officials went to court to block the show from coming to town. The town used an ordinance passed in 1996 – that prohibits the serving of alcohol at any venue where there is nudity or where “sex acts” are being performed – to block the sex expo from coming.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Scoopy’s Notebook

He eventually nailed his Chuck Schumer impression while on the campaign trail, but comic Randy Credico was unable to get on the Democratic primary ballot against the state’s senior senator. It turns out it was Schumer who nailed Credico, by challenging his ballot petitions. Credico needed 15,000 valid signatures, but after the challenge, was left with only 13,350. As a result, Schumer won’t face a primary. But Credico — who was a leading activist against the Rockefeller Drug Laws — says he’ll definitely be running in the general election come November. “There are only three people running against Schumer,” he told us. “I am in good shape. I am on two ballot lines — Libertarian and Anti-Prohibition parties.” The Anti-Prohibition Party’s candidate for governor is Kristin Davis, the madam who provided high-priced hookers for former Governor Eliot Spitzer, a.k.a. “Client No. 9.” The party, whose symbol is a large green marijuana leaf, supports legalizing prostitution and pot.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Car Review, Honda Odyssey: One Vehicle Rebuilds the Minivan Legacy

Where Others Pitch Options, Honda Adds Trim Lines Honda typically bundles like options and calls that a trim level. To most buyers, it’s less complicated than figuring out options packages and conflicts (but wait till you read below). Honda still has six models / trim lines for 2011, but they’re rijiggered. Below is a rough summary. LX is the base line, EX is value, EX-L is the volume leader, and Touring is the premium, high-tech offering. The exact details are mind-numbingly complex (the Odyssey has 10-way power-adjustable driver seating, except on the LX it’s eight), so if you want a feature, scrutinize honda.com carefully to make sure it’s on the trim level you’re considering. Or hope your sales rep has been reading up in his spare time.
Odyssey LX, $28,580 including the $780 shipping fee, is the stripper model: no USB jack, no Bluetooth, no satellite radio, no leather seating, just one 12-volt socket up front plus one in the third row, no rem …

Manhattan Strip Clubs: Liberty and justice for all?

Now I am not denouncing that what was done on Sept. 11 was tolerable, but the burning of the Muslim holy book, the Quran, and Mosques in such a beautiful country as ours should not be allowed.
As a political science major, I know all too well that this great country was built on Christian beliefs and morals, but that does not justify such hatred and disgust towards another religion’s practices and virtues in this nation. If you disagree, just read the First Amendment of this country’s constitution.
Most people who oppose the Islamic community center and mosque in New York City are foolishly protesting something they do not know the full details about. Most of these people will argue that it is morally wrong that Muslims want to build something two blocks away from ground zero. But they fail to speak about the immoral porn shops and the strip club that is also within that same ‘moral’ radius of ground zero.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Fall season on Bay Area stages, cont.

Instigated last year by The Theatre Offensive of Cambridge,
Mass., in recognition of Stonewall’s 40th anniversary, the Come As You Are
project is a series of nationally coordinated,
locally produced performance events about diverse queer sex. Brava! for Women
in the Arts launches its season on Sept. 17 with its one-night-only
participation in the project.
The collection of short pieces, chosen by The Theatre
Offensive, will be presented throughout the Brava building by a local cast.
They’re described as “theatrical installations,” and attendees can
roam and mingle and imbibe throughout the evening. Tickets are a modest $10,
and can be had through www.brava.org.

‘Palomino’ gigolo
Writer-performer David Cale may not look much like a dashing
young Central Park carriage driver who discovers a sideline job as a male
prostitute, but such is the magic of theater that he has been successfully
riding his hansom cab around the country with the Aurora Theatre-bound solo
show.
