Still, there have been missteps. It may not be a coincidence that Kline wasn’t reading scripts he loved immediately after “Wild Wild West,” which was critically drubbed (The Times’ Kenneth Turan called it “clumsy” and “disappointing”), but the actor insists he’s comfortable with his lack of power in determining the outcome of a film after he’s done his job: “If you want more than that, you have to be a director.” Of 2002’s “The Emperor’s Club,” in which he played an idealistic classics teacher at a prep school, he says, “It was based on Ethan Canin’s book, which had a great title, ‘The Palace Thief,’” Kline remembers. “But the studio said, ‘Oh, no, you can’t use that as a title. There’s no palace and there’s no thief.’ But ‘The Emperor’s Club’?” Kline rolls his eyes. “I chortled when that turned out to be the name of the escort service that Eliot Spitzer used. It’s a good name for an escort service. It’s not so good for a movie.”

WOODBRIDGE — A day after allegations that a Woodbridge ambulance company was holding wild parties with strippers and prostitutes, the mayor and an attorney for the organization lashed out at each other.
Mayor John E. McCormac blasted the group, claiming members don’t properly staff their building, leave town while on duty and take multiple calls at the same time, leading to slow response times in some instances.
“I have no confidence that they can keep the people of Avenel or Woodbridge Township safe,” he said.
At the same time, a lawyer for the embattled Avenel-Colonia First Aid Squad said she was filing a lawsuit against McCormac, the township and its council.
…
Township spokesman John Hagerty, speaking for the police, said detectives had determined there were at least two such parties — held this year and last — and that 58-year-old Stanley P. Misiuk brought strippers there who later engaged in prostitution.

Zac Efron has finally spoke out over the rumors of him paying a little visit to an NYC strip club.
Zac talked to Jimmy Kimmell on last night’s episode about the guys night out he had with High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu and a few others, confirming that the boys went to Flashdancers Gentleman’s Club in NYC.
However, he admitted that it didn’t live up to his expectations.
“I had this image of what it would be like. I’ve heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. So I envisioned myself on a nice couch, stunna shades, with like T-Pain and Usher, you know, making it rain money, and it just wasn’t like that.”
As for the story that the group spent $2,000 on private dances, Zac adds: “No, no, not at all … I don’t remember. I don’t think I opened my wallet.”

When quizzed about her thoughts on marriage and children, Diaz said: ‘What about it? If I say, “This is how I’m going to live my life,” I am closing myself off to all these other possibilities. I’m the kind of girl who likes to be open to every possibility, who is open to all my options.’
‘I think the big misconception in our society is that we’re supposed to meet the one when we’re 18 and we’re supposed to get married to them and love them for the rest of our lives. Bulls**t,’ she told UK’s Stylist magazine.
‘Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? Why not break it up a little bit?’
Diaz has previously dated a string of high profile men including Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto.

Just five months later though, when my dad drove out to collect me for the summer, everything had changed. I was on daily injections of Deca Durabolin, twice-weekly spikes of smooth-shooting Winstrol and occasional bumps of test-cypionate. I was packing on two or three pounds a week and racing to the mirror every morning to find a fresh eruption of muscle.
There’d be hell to pay later for my ill-gotten brawn, but for now the chief side effect of shooting juice was the lusty attention of female strangers. They’d approach me in diners, brazenly ogle my pecs and ask if they could touch them through my shirt, or goose my ass on the crosstown bus as they made their way to the door.
By July, I’d met a crew of gym-toned bruisers who took me under their wing, showing me how to make muscle pay at bachelorette parties and bridal showers. We’d drive to the boroughs dressed as Con Ed men, then peel off our work suits for cosmeticians and big-haired legal secretaries. For all my size, I gave a terrible name to fledgling college strippers.
