LT Pleads Not Guilty to Rape Charge
Seems like LT just can’t keep himself out of trouble. The legendary linebacker pleaded “not guilty” today to charges of third-degree rape, sexual abuse, patronizing a prostitute, and endangering a child. 
Taylor is accused of soliciting the services of a 16-year-old girl who was allegedly paid $300 for her time. He was arrested May 6 of this this year after the victim’s uncle contacted police. Despite the allegations, LT seemed to have a carefree demeanor in court and is supported by his wife, family, friends, and colleagues.

UPDATE: Lawrence Taylor has entered his not guilty plea in court. Outside the courthouse, his attorney said there is no plea bargain, so it will go to trial. He said LT was under “enormous pressure” and was doing “the best he can under the circumstances.”
ORIGINAL: Lawrence Taylor will plead not guilty to five criminal charges today. The charges come after allegations that he paid for sex with a 16-year old prostitute in May. LT says he never touched her sexually, only himself.
Taylor is being charged with third-degree rape, criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.
Taylor has already arrived at Rockland County, NY court. TMZ has video of LT clashing with a reporter, who asked, “Can you comment about what’s happening today?” LT responded, “Darling … grow up.”

NEW YORK (AP) – A federal appeals court on Tuesday tossed out a government policy that can lead to broadcasters being fined for allowing even a single curse word on live television, concluding that the rule was unconstitutionally vague and had a chilling effect on broadcasters. L.T. pleads not guilty, tells reporter to “grow up”

Lawrence Taylor appeared in court today and entered a plea of not guilty to third-degree rape, patronizing a prostitute, sexual abuse and endangering a child.
As we noted this morning, the not guilty plea came as no surprise, as lawyer Arthur Aidala had already said publicly that Taylor will fight the charges, and claims he did not have sex with the 16-year-old girl in question.
Taylor spoke briefly to reporters outside court, although he did not discuss the facts of the case. When one reporter asked him if he was guilty, Taylor responded, “Grow up.”
Inside the courthouse, as Taylor waited for his case to be called, he was heard looking at the gathering of reporters and saying, “It must be a slow news day.” He also said to a friend, “You’re not playing golf today, are you?”
