A case of sex, money, murder, and magic grips Miami
By Anita Singh
Saturday July 10 2010
A former stripper has been charged with orchestrating the murder of her millionaire husband in a bizarre case involving sex, violence and voodoo.
Narcy Novack claimed she found her husband, Ben Novack Jnr (52), beaten to death in their New York hotel room last July. His face, hands and feet were bound with tape and he had been subjected to a sustained assault.
According to prosecutors, however, Ms Novack (53) let the killers into the room and handed them a pillow to place over her husband’s face.
They allege she conspired in his murder because she wanted to inherit his $10m (€7.9m) fortune. She was charged on Thursday along with three alleged co-conspirators.
