Union City police have made 16 prostitution arrests since March 23.
Union City police have arrested 16 people on prostitution charges since March 23, focusing on those who specifically operate in the municipality.
The following persons were charged with promoting prostitution:
Jenny T. Egan, 54, of New Providence; Tina Miller, 34, and Justin Beard, 30, both of Philadelphia; Ruben Cruz-Meneses, 28, of Newark; Anastacia Romero Tapia, 33, of Passaic; and Jessica Paulino-Ortiz, 30, of West New York.
The following were charged with promoting prostitution and prostitution:

Rosa Isela Lopez-Conde, 33, of Guttenberg, was charged with prostitution.
Megan Pietrowitz, 26, of East Rutherford, was charged with promoting prostitution, prostitution, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute. Glenn Baldwin, 22, of Staten Island, was also charged with promoting prostitution and resisting arrest.

While revealing past horrors, Parker’s Holiday can laugh some of them off, with jibes at parole officers and disappointing husbands. However, the jokes only make the stories and conversation more poignant, as they also expose a forced attempt to dismiss a hard past as bearable.

News of the former Apprentice star’s self-imposed exile from the glaring spotlight emerged when he confessed his intentions to officers from the California Highway Patrol after they pulled over the 40-year-old for driving without a front license plate.
A desperate James has endured intense scrutiny in recent weeks after details over his alleged extra-marital affairs became public. In a statement released earlier this month James blamed “poor judgment” on his part after four different women, including stripper and tattoo model Michelle ‘Bomeshell’ McGee, each came forward with claims that they had engaged in affairs with the star at various points during his time with his now wife, Bullock.

Sandra Bullock’s hubby is pulling a Tiger Woods and reportedly checking himself into a sex rehab clinic in Arizona.
Ironically, the 40-year-old James will be spending time at the Sierra Tucson clinic — the same facility where the recent Oscar winner and actor Viggo Mortensen filmed the 2000 flick “28 Days.”
As Bullock weighs her next move, James is hoping that treatment will save his marriage, Us Weekly reported in its current issue.
“He loves Sandra,” a friend of the couple told Us Weekly.
To win her back, the friend said James “would do anything.”
The couple has been married since July 2005.
Two weeks ago, tattooed temptress Michelle McGee, a former stripper, revealed to In Touch magazine that she had been carrying on an affair with James, who has reportedly cheated on Bullock with three other women.

The actress and writer June Havoc, 97, whose childhood in vaudeville as Baby June was immortalized in the musical Gypsy, died of natural causes Sunday at her home in Stamford, Conn.
Ms. Havoc, the younger sister of the famed stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, never reached the fame of her sister, but she had a varied, successful theater career that stretched from 1918 throughout much of the century.
With music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents, Gypsy is considered one of the best musicals. The original 1959 production starred Ethel Merman, who played the ferociously pushy stage mother Mama Rose.
The play was based on a memoir of the older daughter, Louise, who grew up to be Gypsy Rose Lee. Ms. Havoc made no effort to obstruct the show, though she said in a 1998 interview that she detested it.
