Sandra Bullock to Seek Custody of Step-Daughter

Sandra Bullock is going to seek custody of her six-year-old step-daughter Sunny according to X17online.com’s source today.
The source also claims the Oscar-winning actress is going to go through with divorce proceedings from husband Jesse James due to his alleged affair with the stripper/pornography model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee; however, we would say there is a possibility this will not happen because of her close relationship with her three step-kids.
“[Sandra] is going to go ahead and file for divorce and [gic] she is also wanting to get custody of Mr. James’ [gic] young daughter. Her lawyers are telling her that there is a possibility that she could custody since the child’s mother is unfit and Jesse is an adulterer. The Oscar winner’s reps have been in touch with several high-end lawyers, including Lance Spiegel, who handled divorces for Charlie Sheen, Heather Locklear and Michael Jackson, TMZ reported on its Web site.
Her husband, Jesse James, has contacted several lawyers as well, sources told TMZ, but he will not be initiating the divorce.
The site reported that James’ reps are asking lawyers “if they’d be interested in taking the case” if Bullock files.
This comes as Bullock’s friends confirmed the actress is looking to end the marriage after learning last week that James cheated on her.
“I think it’s unlikely that Sandra will take Jesse back,” the friend told Fox News. “This is going to be a lot for her to overcome.”
The friend said that an angry Bullock, 45, has been in Austin, Texas, since learning last week that heavily tattooed stripper Michelle “Bombshell” McGee was going public about an 11-month affair with James.

A source close to Michelle ”Bombshell” McGee said Jesse James’ refusal to financially back her strip club idea led her to sell her story to the press. McGee talked to InTouch Magazine who reportedly paid her $30,000 for the interview.

The man behind the magic at two of Manhattan’s biggest strip clubs claims he was cheated out of his earnings for gussying up the dancers there.
Russell Whelchel of Queens worked as a hair and makeup stylist at Scores New York and the Penthouse Executive Club from October 2006 through last month, according to court papers filed yesterday.
His suit — which doesn’t specify damages — alleges that he wasn’t paid the “proper minimum wage for all hours worked” and was forced to fork over an illegal “house fee” at the end of every shift. Neither club would comment.

Along with the comedic drama between Nicole and Milo, a murder mystery is thrown into the mix as a pair of heavy-fisted debt collectors anxious to get to Milo. As the movie progresses the plot becomes even more ridiculously predictable, but I imagine you’ll keep on chuckling.
Overall the acting in the film is average, although kudos should be given to Christine Baranski (Mamma Mia) and Jason Sudeikis (Saturday Night Live) for excellent comic relief.
In general this movie is also fairly clean. The language is mild and there is virtually no sexuality.
Although I did have a concern about one scene.  Near the end of the movie, a scene (seemingly at random) is thrown in of a strip club full of scantily-clad women.  I have no idea why the writers opted to use this setting as it wasn’t necessary to further the plot, however because of this one scene I wouldn’t recommend taking children to this movie.

The problems with the movie lie squarely on the shoulders of the director. After the first scene in the car, the movie cuts to a quick paced scene of Milo chasing a suspect and getting arrested himself. From that arrest until the point where the two leads meet up at a racetrack, the movie stumbles forward, with little rhyme or reason. After about fifteen minutes, I thought this might end up ranking as one of the worst movies of the year. Luckily, when Milo finally captures Nicole, the film picks up thanks in large part to the actors’ chemistry.
The shots are edited together strangely, and the scenes seem to transition with no real flow. The movie never drags but it seems to be more of a group of incidents edited together than a cohesive story.
