The Showroom, Asbury Park’s only independent cinema, is pairing with fellow Cookman Ave. business, the bookstore, words! and Asbury Park’s online literary arts magazine, Splash of Red, to continue their newly launched BookFLX series. On Sunday, February 21 at 4:00 p.m., the team will bring author David Henry Sterry to Asbury Park to speak about his book “Hos, Hookers, Call Girls and Rent Boys”, its subject matter and getting published. Then after a short break Sterry will host “Pitchapalooza”, giving aspiring authors a chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
