By Ranjan Bhaduri
Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Eliot Spitzer, the tainted former governor of New York has become a much sober person now as it seems from his recent media interviews. The former New York Governor had to quit his post following charges of prostitution. He did not react strongly when Stephen Colbert took digs at him in “The Colbert Report” aired on Tuesday night. However, no mention was made of the prostitution scandal. The former governor lashed out at the Wall Street bankers and blamed them for the US economic turmoil that took place two years back.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Retail at Sitt’s Red Hook Site, Summer Opening of Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier …

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN â Although he qualified his remarks about his Red Hook [Revere Sugar] development site by saying, âœIn a perfect world,â developer Joe Sitt did confirm that his plan is for a development with retail at its base and residential â possibly even student housing â above the retail.
Sitt, principal of Thor Equities and a member of the Brooklyn Real Estate Roundtable Steering Committee, was speaking at the Roundtable luncheon Tuesday at the Brooklyn Historical Society.
âœWith IKEA on one side â the largest IKEA in the country where water taxis bring people from Manhattan â and the very successful Fairway market on the other side, there is a tremendous attraction there,â he said.
The site is still zoned for manufacturing, however, he noted.
Responding to questions from new steering committee chair David Von Spreckelsen, Sitt also confirmed he still has plans for an adult entertainment district in Coney Island â meaning restaurants, hotels and amusements â âœalthough it will now be in partnership with Mayor Bloomberg and the city.â

Manhattan Escorts: Eliot Spitzer, the ‘Steamroller,’ makes poor personal decisions when it comes …

I first reported Spitzer’s predilection for frolicking with paid babes in his black knee socks in a letter to the FBI on November 19, 2007. The New York Post reported that the FBI had confirmed the Governor’s black socks fetish from a second hooker on April 24, 2008.
Kristin Davis, the busty businesswoman who went from managing Hedge Funds to founding and running the most successful multi-million dollar  ”Escort Service” in the history of the world because she found it more lucrative, said Spitzer’s black socks were a running joke among all of the ladies who booked the time with Client Number 9 through Davis. “One girl said if it was based on size they should have called him Client number three,” Davis told me. The canny entrepreneur has kept audio tapes of some of her top girls talking after they romped with Prince Eliot. They all mention the droopy socks.

Manhattan Strip Clubs: A village struggling with past looks to the future

… You cannot rule out Brooklyn,” he said, “because slaves were crossing the Mississippi from St. Louis and were hiding in and under the church up the street. Some stayed, some went on to Canada.”
Brooklyn, located directly across the Mississippi River from St. Louis on Illinois Route 3 in St. Clair County, was a natural starting point for runaway slaves. If those slaves avoided patrols waiting on the Illinois side, Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church was their first stop.
McShan, 75, isn’t recounting the history because February is African-American History Month. In addition to serving as the church secretary, he also founded the Lovejoy Alumni Association to work with area schools and children. He believes the town can reclaim its heritage. Sitting in his office at 702 Washington Ave., McShan remembers when Brooklyn thrived as a small community, before there were deteriorating houses, burned-out buildings and a reliance on money from strip clubs in the village budget.

Manhattan Massage Parlors: Sting nets another faux masseuse in Watertown

Xiuhong Lan, 38, of 46 Beechwood Lane in New Hyde Park, N.Y., was arrested on Jan. 26 in a Main Street apartment and charged with sexual conduct for a fee.
On Jan. 25, police saw an ad for a massage on the classified site, Craigslist.org, and an undercover officer called to make an appointment. Around noon on the Jan. 26, the officer met Lan at 275 Main St., the Whitney Towers Apartments, in No. 605.
The apartment was allegedly unfurnished except for a laptop on a chair in the living room and a double bed in one of the bedrooms. Lan and the officer allegedly came to an agreement for sex for a fee, and Lan was arrested.
In October, a sex sting operation led to the arrest of three women working in massage parlors for offering sex in exchange for money.
