Manhattan Strip Clubs: Season Premier: 24 Part 2

The assassin pulls the I-won’t-hurt-you card with the hostages. I think he’s going to kill them. It’s good to see Jack getting into it with black guys on the basketball court. I’m sure Jack could’ve gotten the info for $20 instead of $100. He needs improvement on his bartering skills.
Oh no! Jack gets stunned by Herc from The Wire and is mistaken for the cop killer. They treated Jack like he was high on PCP.
8:17 Dana Walsh has drama at the office. I love how everyone knows where CTU is. Most people don’t even know we have a Federal Reserve Bank in Seattle. Somehow civilians know where to find CTU. Dana’s guy friend looks like someone I saw on an episode of Cheaters. I’m waiting for Joey Greco to run up with a dozen cameras. Dana’s past life can only be one of a few occupations: Stripper, drug dealer, prostitute, con-artist, all of the above. I’m going to put my poker chips on drug dealer/con-artist.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: The Lady Gaga guide to NYC

for a 15% discount). Your personal paparazzi will follow you and your entourage for 30 minutes, screaming your name—perhaps Gaga the Second—and snapping shot after shot of you embodying the pantsless wonder. (You’ll be gifted a copy of a fake gossip magazine with your image festooned upon it for your trouble.) Wave away the hired help and push through the crowd that’s thronged around you as you set out for an evening of “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” delights. Though critics and DJs trace Gaga’s inspiration back to Queen, David Bowie and Grace Jones, we see more wild Weimar hedonism in her than she gets credit for. Get a lesson in that era’s style at Ildiko Nemeth’s cabaret Oh, Those Beautiful Weimar Girls (La MaMa E.T.C., 74 E 4th St between Bowery and Second Ave; visit lamama.org for a schedule, $15–$20), inspired by the scandal-making, androgynous Berlin chanteuse-prostitute-writer Anita Berber—Gaga’s predecessor? The 1920s starlet appeared onstage naked, with only a pet monkey dangling from her neck.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: New: Breaking news and daily top stories via email

For all the straights people out there who don’t know, Guys with iPhones is a website that houses thousand of pictures of men holding a phone and often wearing little else. How has it become a magnet for B-list nudes?
DJ Paulie Disrobed is just the latest example of reality show denizens and second-tier stars showing up on the hallowed stall wall of the website [NSFW, unless you work as a male prostitute at a brothel in the Nevada desert]. The biggest star the site has nabbed is REM’s Michael Stipe. They posted the photos of Cleveland Indians player Grady Sizemore that made the internet rounds. And they’ve scored some much, much smaller victories: Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro; Dexter actor Brando Eaton; rappers Chingy, Fabolous, and Soulja Boy; and reality show personalities like Ryan Vieth (Tamra’s son on Real Housewives of Orange County) and Ade Obayomi (a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance).

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Surprised Massachusetts Race Is Close?

CHRIS MATTHEWS, MSNBC: You know in the old days, maybe I shouldn’t be harkening back to the old days, if the Democrats faced this kind of a disaster in the works, you’d go back to your ones, the people you were sure are going to vote Democrat, and you’d make sure they got to the polling place, you’d get them lunch, you’d get them a car. You’d make sure they got there.
And in some cases you’d be buying people to get them, not officially buying them, but getting them there as block secretaries, as block captains, you’d be getting them there with street money, legitimate but it’s a little bit old school.
But I hear, talking to somebody, today there aren’t people up there in Massachusetts like that anymore. There aren’t those automatic Democrat votes out there, those ones anymore.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
Oh, the horror! You mean they can’t buy votes in Massachusetts anymore? What’s next: ACORN won’t allow underage prostitution?

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Some Focus on the Modern Slave Trade During MLK Day

Almost 47 years have passed since Martin Luther King, Jr. made his famous “I have a dream” speech. The United states and the world have made major strides since that time, but human trafficking still has millions enslaved today.
Chair of the Flathead Valley Martin Luther King Day Community Celebration Reverend Darryl Kistler says, “27 million is almost a number that is beyond anything we can think about. That would be taking every person in Montana and multiplying us by 27 and that’s how many people are involved or enslaved by human trafficking.”
According to the U.S. State Department, trafficking exists in every single U.S. state and around the globe. Between 14,500 and 17,500 people are brought to the U.S. every single year under false pretences. Many are forced into prostitution, manual labor, and other services.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: PRECIOUS DIRECTOR DANIELS: ‘KING BIOPIC WILL FOCUS ON CIVIL RIGHTS, NOT WOMEN’

PRECIOUS director LEE DANIELS is urging civil rights icon MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.’s family to trust him with a planned biopic – because he’s not working with a script that portrays the politician and humanitarian as a womaniser.
Reports suggest King’s family have passed Paul Webb’s screenplay to lawyers in a bid to halt any film from portraying the people’s hero as a cheater, who enjoyed the company of prostitutes and mistresses.
But Daniels, who is making the biopic Selma with Brad Pitt as producer, insists the Kings have nothing to fear.
He explains, “The script they have is not my script. This project is still in an embryonic stage, but I can tell you my story focuses on the civil rights marches. It’s not about tapes and prostitutes. It’s about the African-American man who changed history.”

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: The joys of Wikipedia plot synopses.

Sometimes, these admirably detailed synopses are laced with sly commentary. Whoever wrote up “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” was alert enough to notice that the bad guys “appear to know parkour.” And sometimes they make weird interventions. Whoever summarized “Obsessed” decided it was a two-act film, as they announce in bold headings.
Not all movies receive such treatment — the further back they recede in time, the less likely they are to have detailed information, no matter how important. So Max Ophuls’ “La Ronde” is noted as telling “a series of stories about love affairs or illicit meetings involving a prostitute, a soldier, a chambermaid, her employer’s son, a married woman, her husband, a young girl, a poet, an actress and a count. At the end of each encounter, one of the partners forms a liaison with another person, and so on.” Fair enough.

Manhattan Adult Entertainment: Paterson Had Lunch With Some Lady, So Obviously They Are Boning

New York Governor David Paterson was spotted over the weekend having lunch at a New Jersey restaurant with some non-wife woman, which is, if not downright illegal, then certainly in poor taste! Where does this man get off, having lunches in New Jersey all the time?
The office of the governor of New York was previously held by such paragons of virtue as Rudy Giuliani, a thrice-married adulterer who loved to hang out with known crooks, [Oh wait he was just the mayor! But he was Official Governor of 9/11, which counts. -- Ed.] and Eliot Spitzer, the crusading patron saint of prostitutes. Governor Paterson has pooped all over their noble legacy by taking a woman to lunch:
State lawmakers yesterday fumed over Gov. Paterson’s cozy weekend lunch date, saying New York’s chief executive should be working on looming deadlines instead of dallying with a pretty female pal. As The Post reported yesterday, Paterson was spotted having an intimate lunch at the celeb-friendly River Palm Terrace in Edgewater, NJ, with an attractive woman who was not his wife.
