However we think Tiger just needs to start making sponsorship deals with a different type of sponsor. Something like strip clubs, divorce attorneys, escort services, Chilis Restaurants, would all be a great fit.

Yet while slavery was abolished in the 19th century in the United States, it lives on across the globe. Its continued existence abroad is every bit the threat to our society that slavery in America was, as it runs counter to the principles of a democratic society. In essence, it limits our very own freedom.
And just as we as a nation will not stop in our quest to end terrorism wherever it may live, nor should we stop short of committing ourselves to doing what we can to stop slavery in foreign countries.
Slaves live as servants in the Sudan. In India, children are forced to work without rest spinning fabric on looms. In Asia and Eastern Europe, teenage girls are enslaved, sent overseas in inhumane conditions and forced into prostitution.

Meanwhile, there is more fallout from alleged mistress Jamie Jungers’ profanity-laced radio interview Monday. On Tuesday, a Radar Online reporter was interviewed on the same show and said Jungers is lying about not having nude photos of Woods and is lying about her ex-fiancee being the cause of her relationship with Woods being made public. Click here for more details.
In a profanity-laced interview on San Francisco station KNEW and Los Angeles-based KFI radio, Jamie Jungers angrily denied that she has naked photos of Tiger Woods. Details here and listen to interview in audio link here.
The New York Post reports that Woods was a regular at a New York City strip club but always acted like a strip club “virgin,” like he had never been in a strip club before. The Post and the New York Daily News are also reporting that the Stanford alum was surrounded by a group of assistants who covered for him but also tried to warn him of the risks he took with image. Details here.

The bizarre and salacious saga of Abbie Jane Swogger, a stripper who worked for the Highlands School District as a teachers aide, came to end on May 26 when she was sentenced in Allegheny County Court to a three-to-six-year prison term and 36 years of probation. Swogger pleaded guilty to a slew of drug- and sex-related charges including having sex with a 15-year-old boy and hosting a drug-and-sex party with several teens in a New Kensington hotel in February 2008.

There is a lot of talk today that the famous New York restaurant Tavern on the Green will be shutting it’s doors today forever. Back in the late 1970’s an establishment known as The Disco Donut once existed in the City of New York. It was a 24/7 eatery were one could get something to eat at anytime. The Disco Donut stood on the south west corner of 3rd Avenue & 14th Street.
Back then when the Disco Donut existed the corner of 3rd Avenue and 14th Street was a hell infested block filled with Creeps, Weirdoes, Junkies, and Prostitutes. Out of this modern day Sodom & Gomorra the Disco Donut stood out as a safe haven where decent people could go get a donut or in my case a salami sandwich in the middle of the night.

As the holidays arrive, our thoughts on The Ticket turn to not
working so much for a few days. So we are re-publishing some of our
favorite or most-read items from 2009. This one originally appeared
on Sept. 23.
Embattled New York Gov. David Paterson has a wife named Michelle too, and she came out swinging today at the Obama White House.
Paterson became governor after Eliot Spitzer resigned amid a prostitution scandal. With his poll numbers down and still-popular former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani
lurking in the wings to challenge Paterson, the White House sent word
to Albany that perhaps Paterson could fall on his sword for the party
and just forget to file his re-election papers.
